What Has Transferred to GCFA

Your full client file has transferred to GCFA — including your personal information, contact details, previous Statements of Advice, insurance policy details, superannuation records, investment arrangements and any other documentation held by Integrum Advice. You do not need to provide this information again from scratch.

Your ongoing advice relationship continues under GCFA’s authorisation through Wealth Today Pty Ltd (AFSL 340289). The advisers at GCFA hold the same licensing and professional qualifications you would expect from an ongoing financial advice relationship, and you have the same rights as a client — including access to our Financial Services Guide, the right to a Statement of Advice for any new personal advice, and access to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) for dispute resolution.

If you had ongoing advice services with Integrum — an annual review service, an active insurance review, a retirement planning engagement — those services have transferred to GCFA and we will be in contact to schedule a review meeting to continue them.

If You Have an Active Insurance Claim

If you are currently managing an insurance claim that was lodged through Integrum Advice, please contact GCFA as soon as possible so we can confirm the status of your claim and take over management of the process. Provide your name, the insurer involved, and as much detail as you have about the claim, and we will locate your file and advise on the current status.

GCFA’s Group Claims Lead holds a Bachelor of Laws and manages insurance claims — life, TPD, trauma and income protection — with professional advocacy support throughout the process. If you are navigating a claim that has been difficult or delayed, please contact us to discuss what options may be available.

What You Should Do Next

If you have not yet been in contact with GCFA since the transfer, we recommend reaching out to schedule a review meeting. This gives us the opportunity to introduce ourselves properly, confirm your records are complete and accurate, and review whether your current financial arrangements — superannuation, insurance, investments — are still appropriate for your current situation.

Financial planning is not static — circumstances change, markets change, legislation changes. Even if your arrangements were well structured when last reviewed, a review meeting is a worthwhile investment of time to ensure nothing has drifted out of alignment. The review is part of the ongoing advice service and is included in your existing engagement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sign new paperwork to continue receiving advice?

You may be asked to sign updated client agreement documentation as part of the transition. GCFA will inform you if any new documentation is required and explain clearly what you are being asked to sign before you do so. You will not be asked to sign anything without a full explanation.

Will my insurance policies be affected by the transfer?

Your insurance policies are held with the insurer, not with the advice practice. The transfer of your advice relationship to GCFA does not affect your policy terms, premiums, benefit amounts or cover. GCFA will be recorded as the adviser of record with the insurer, meaning we receive renewal notices and can manage your policy and any claims on your behalf.

I have a claim in progress that was lodged through Integrum. What happens?

Contact GCFA immediately on 07 5655 6194. Provide your name and the insurer involved. We will locate your file and confirm the status of your claim as soon as possible. We will then take over management of the process from that point.

What if I want to change to a different financial adviser?

You have the right to change your financial adviser at any time. If you would prefer to engage a different practice, contact GCFA and we will ensure your records are transferred appropriately. However, we encourage you to have an initial conversation with us before making that decision — you may find the transition to GCFA is smoother than you expect.

Claims Assistance for Integrum Clients

If you held insurance policies placed through Integrum Advice and need to make a claim — or have a claim in progress — GCFA’s Group Claims Lead holds a Bachelor of Laws and manages insurance claims with professional legal advocacy from lodgement through to payment. Contact GCFA on 07 5655 6194 with your name, the insurer involved and any reference numbers or correspondence you have. We will locate your file and advise on current status and next steps. If your claim has been delayed or declined, we will review the insurer’s position and advise on what options are available.

If you have outstanding questions about your Integrum Advice records — what policies were in place, what advice was given, what was being managed on your behalf — contact GCFA on 07 5655 6194 and we will work through those questions with you. Your file has transferred and we have access to the records. Active claims are managed by our Group Claims Lead who holds a Bachelor of Laws and provides professional advocacy throughout. It is better to ask than to leave questions unanswered. We encourage all former Integrum clients to book a review meeting so we can confirm your records are complete and your current arrangements remain appropriate.
